We are seeking compassionate, proactive educators to join our team in supporting vulnerable young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Our specialist schools tailored for children between 4-16 years old are designed to equip them with lifelong skills to give them the best opportunity for success in adulthood; this includes reforming challenging behaviours, providing pastoral support and giving them the tools to navigate their difficult emotions. This is a career for someone who is looking for an opportunity to shape the next generation and understands the challenges these young people might be facing.

With a less assessment-based approach to teaching and learning, these children are provided with specialist support from both trained internal staff and external professionals, including therapists, psychologists and family workers. Your role will be classroom based, assisting the class teacher with day-to-day routines, delivering interventions as guided and adapting to each child’s individual needs each day. These children and teenagers could have experienced trauma, family breakdowns and other mental health difficulties, so you will need to be patient, resilient and confident in your ability to learn on the job!

Could this be the next step for you? Please share your CV with us or reach out to our Thames Valley branch on 01183271595
