Youth worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a youth worker to join a secondary SEMH provision.

The is a secondary provision that caters for pupils who have an educational Health Care Plan in place, Autism and SEMH. It is a smaller provision and with this they can tailor their approach to best suit the needs of the pupils. Providing them with an opportunity to reach their full potential whether that be academically, vocational or personal.

Contract: Temporary

Hours: Full-time (Monday – Friday 8:30 – 3:30pm

Pay: £11.83 p/hour

Provision: Secondary SEMH

Location: Burnley

A Youth Worker in a school setting will work with the youth to facilitate their social, personal and physical development through education and vocational courses. Their duties include organising and implementing learning activities, helping the youth understand values and ideas and building their confidence and life skills.
