  • Monday to Wednesday: 8:00 am - 3:20 pm
  • Thursday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
  • Friday: 8:00 am - 2:30 pm
    Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour
    Contract: Long-term position

Do you have strong behavior management skills and a background that can make a difference in an alternative provision setting? We are looking for a dedicated Youth Worker to join our Secondary Alternative Provision in Blackburn!

About the Role:

As a Youth Worker, you will:

  • Provide support and guidance to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and personal development.
  • Utilize your behavior management skills to create a positive and structured environment.
  • Work closely with a team of professionals to deliver tailored support to each student, promoting their academic and social success.
  • Engage with students through various activities, encouraging positive behaviors and attitudes.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Experience in youth work, support work, or similar roles.
  • Strong behavior management skills, with a calm and patient approach.
  • A background in mental health nursing, sports, or armed forces is highly desirable.
  • A passion for making a difference in the lives of young people and helping them reach their potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
