Teaching Personnel are actively recruiting Mental Health Specialists who can work alongside Teachers and other Education staff/Therapists in specialist provisions including primary and secondary PRUs and SEMH schools in Leyton/Walthamstow/Chingford/ Islington/ East London

If you have the following experience or background, you may be the perfect applicant for this role:

• Psychology, Counselling or relevant degree (desirable)
• Teaching Assistant experience or experience working in a school, preferably a SEMH/ Pupil referral unit setting. Experience in security and challenging difficult behaviour also desirable.
• A good understanding, passion or experience in working with young people with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviours 
• Experience working with young people with challenging behaviour
• Team Teach, PRICE or Thrive training
