Cover Supervisor Position - Reading Academy School - Experienced TA or HLTA wanted

This lovely 11-18 Comprehensive Academy School based in Reading are looking for an experienced Cover Supervisor or HLTA to join their Cover Supervisor team as a team lead. This role will offer you a fantastic opportunity to gain leaderships skills and experience, all whilst providing high quality lesson cover for absent staff. You will have the opportunity to deploy support staff, actively engage in curriculum planning, and marking.

The role:

  • Cover Supervisor.
  • Full time.
  • Immediate Start.
  • Reading.
  • Supervising lesson delivery, keeping students on task, and effectively deploy support staff.
  • Responsible for following school safeguarding and behaviour policy.

The ideal candidate:

  • Must have an undergraduate degree in a curriculum subject (e.g. Chemistry, Maths, PE, Business Studies, etc.)
  • Must be an experienced TA or HLTA
  • Must have a live DBS or be prepared to take one out.
