Food Technology Teacher - Worcester-September

A lovely Secondary School in Worcester are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic teacher of Food Technology to teach KS3-KS4 pupils. This is a full time vacancy to start September until December in the first instance.

The school is commended for being supportive and having good facilities within the Design Technology Department. We are looking for a specialist Food Technology Teacher who is qualified and has experience teaching preparation and nutrition. You will be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons to ensure pupils understand and apply the principles of nutrition and health. You will need to ensure pupils make excellent progress in their learning through effective assessment and feedback.

The ideal candidate needs to have:

  • Qualified Teaching Status
  • Experience of working in a school and strong knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Motivate students across all ability ranges and key stages
  • Up to date food hygiene certificate
  • Current DBS or willingness to take out a new DBS
