Smile Leadership Ltd are currently seeking to represent an IT Technician for a primary school in the Blackburn, Lancashire (BB2) area. The role is available to start immediately and offered as a permanent position term time + 4 weeks. The successful candidate will be required to work full-time (37 hours pw). The pay rate is between £22,591 - £24,758 per annum dependant on experience. We are currently supporting a primary school in recruiting an IT Technician. Typically, the main duties of the role are, but are not limited to, maintaining the school's network, installing new software and upgrading existing applications, providing technical support for teachers and pupils, running diagnostics, ensuring internet systems are safe and offer full child protection and purchasing kit. We are open to receiving applications by 05.12.22 from IT Technicians with school setting experience or IT Technician with knowledge of school systems. To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following:
• Hold a relevant IT qualification
• Experience within a IT Technician role
• Experience working within a school or similar setting will be advantageous
• Ideally have knowledge of the Greater Manchester LA procedures
