Nursery Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a pre school member of staff to start 5^th September. The pre school is a lovely school based in Kingston near Lewes who look after children from ages 18months – 4 years. This role will require supporting the nursery manager so experience supervising children is a must.

The Role

-          Monday – Friday 7.30-3.30pm

-          £10.70 Per hour

-          Long term for the right candidate

Requirements

• Candidates must have DBS on the update service or willingness to purchase one
• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above in early years and at least 2 years’ experience as a supervisor or above.
• Good working knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS
• Experience within preschool or nursery on a paid or voluntary basis
• Experience with SEN is preferential but not essential
• To take on the role of educational lead and to deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for all children.
• To be responsible for any tasks delegated by the Nursery Manager.
• Will have overall responsibility for staff, children and setting when the manager is not in.
