An SEN School in Skelmersdale is looking for two additional passenger assistants to provide 1:1 support for children. You will arrive at the school in Skelmersdale in the morning, to get in the taxi. Then undertake the journey, with the driver, collecting the student, before returning to school and the same applies in the afternoon. The start date is to be confirmed and will be on an ongoing basis, with a view to become long-term. You will ideally have experience supporting children with special educational needs but this is not essential if you are confident in behaviour management. It would also be an advantage to be Team Teach trained.

The role is 5 days per week and you will be supporting a pupil aged between 4-11 years old. The role is part-time:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 7:30am-9:00am and 3:15pm – 4:30pm
  • Wednesday 7:30am-9:00am and 1:30pm-2:45pm.

Please note, you are not expected to drive, only to accompany the students and ensure they are safe, supported and appropriately behaved. The school have requested CVs and would like to meet shortlisted educators as soon as possible. If you are interested in the role, please get in touch with Charlotte as soon as possible!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
