A Primary School in Solihull are urgently seeking a Caretaker/Site Manager to support with the maintenance of the school site.

 
Smile Education are proud to support a popular Primary School in the heart of Solihull, B90, in their search for a Caretaker/Site Manager.  

 
About the role:

  • You will be responsible for leading the maintenance of the school site, supervising other site maintenance staff.
  • The role is full time, on a permanent basis, working Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. 
  • Pay rate: £11-£13 p/h.
  • Start date: ASAP.
 
Your responsibilities:
  • Opening up and locking up the school site.
  • Supervising cleaning staff.
  • Stock check and ordering supplies.
  • Fire alarm testing.
  • General site maintenance and repairs.
  • Liaising with senior leadership and external contractors to arrange for larger repairs.
  • Preparing the school site for larger events, e.g., Parents’ Evening.
 

The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety across the site, ensuring the safety of all pupils, staff, and visitors.
