A co-educational secondary school situated in the Trafford area of Greater Manchester is seeking to appoint a Behaviour Support Assistant to start at the beginning of the upcoming academic year. This position will suit a confident, experienced individual who has suitable experience working with young adults exhibiting potential behavioural issues. The role will be working supporting a year 10 male student with basic numeracy and literacy on a 1-1 basis. This student can be quite difficult and disengaged with school so any experience of building relationships will be helpful.

This school is a mixed school located in the Trafford area. The school has a reputation of being well run in the local area but given the diversity of students that attend and specific student(s) identified, a behaviour support assistant is required to ensure school’s policies are adhered to.
The school require a Behaviour Support Assistant that can engage with his specific student on an individual basis ensuring that they remain engaged with school. In taking on this role, there will be an expectation to engage with the student and support with basis numeracy and literacy in addition to monitoring students’ behaviour in line with school policy.
