Are you an experienced Administrative Assistant?

 
A Primary School in King’s Norton are urgently looking for an Administrative Assistant on a full-time basis. 
 

Smile Education are proud to support a local Primary School in the B30 area in their search for a full-time Admin Assistant to support their busy administrative team.
 

About the role:

  • You will be providing support to the admin team, working on a full-time, temporary basis.
  • This role has the potential to become permanent, dependent on successful completion of the temporary period.
  • The working hours are 8:30am-4pm, working Monday-Friday.
  • Pay rate: £10-£13 per hour.
  • Start date: ASAP.
 
You will ideally have experience using SIMS or other similar Information Systems. You will also be supported in this role by the school’s Office Manager. 


Your contributions:
  • Greeting pupils, parents, and other visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Act as the first point of contact for telephone and email queries, handling these appropriately.
  • Communicate with parents regarding pupil absence.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership and other staff.
  • Drafting/sending letters.
  • Managing documents and input data.
