Protocol Education

£65 - £75 per day


Fixed Term | Full Time




Protocol Education are looking for full-time SEND Teaching Assistants to work in a Primary School.

The ideal candidate will have a background of supporting children with additional needs and show a caring and empathetic nature towards the children in their care.

The successful candidate will be working with children on a 1:1 basis and with small groups of children with specific planned activities.

Classroom experience would be highly beneficial, but we will also consider those candidates who have experience working with SEND students in other settings.

Candidates with Team Teach, BSL or Makaton are highly encouraged to apply.

These posts are both long-term and short-term and can often lead to full-time employment with the school.

Please note, this position is term time only.

Job Requirements

• Adaptable and willing to work with different age groups

• Willing to support children with learning difficulties and disabilities

• This position is subject to full DBS checks

• willing to participate in further training

• Able to complete written reports

• flexible to work across all year groups

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
