Protocol Education are currently recruiting key support workers to start immediately in a leading specialised provision in Kingston. This particular school is currently recruiting for teachings assistant that either come from a care background or are interested in a career in education. A vital part of the role will be to create an environment that will empower each student to become confident, independent life-learners who can express themselves and their choices, whilst safeguarding their happiness and safety.

The role:
• Work closely with students on a 1:1 basis
• Lead small-groups of students
• Assisting with recreational activities such as gardening, farming and bowling
• Support the learners in class on a one to one basis with numeracy and literacy
• Assist with their daily learning needs & activities such as shopping, washing & cooking
• Working within a supportive environment and team
