£60 - £75 per day
Fixed Term | Full Time
A multi-site, specialist school is currently recruiting experienced, determined and passionate individuals to work as 1:1 SEN support assistants in their SEND unit.
The school is a highly rated establishment for Primary and secondary level boys and girls who have various needs. These range from, ADHD, challenging behaviour, SEMH and so on.
As you will be working in the SEN unit, you will be assigned to one SEN child, or on a small-group basis, and you will be expected to assist them throughout their day. Therefore, experience of working in a support working or special needs environment is highly preferred, but not essential.
Due to the nature of the children, the school is looking for candidates who can commit on a full time, and long-term basis. Consistency is highly valued, so if you are a reliable and committed individual, who is looking for a long-term opportunity to expand your career, this is the role for you.
In return, you will receive valuable experience of working in one of the most established SEN provisions in London, as well as having the flexibility of working through Protocol Education.
Are you looking for a new, deeply rewarding challenge? If so, please apply today. The school is looking to interview immediately, so all successful candidates will be contacted within 3-5 working days.
Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £40.00.
