A class teacher role is being advertised by a local school in the Blackpool area, to begin from November 2021 and continue for a period of seven months, covering a teacher maternity. The role will begin in the first week of term in November and will be full time working hours. The Head teacher will seek to shortlist a minimum of 3 teachers for interview based on hitting the following criteria:
-A teacher with Qualified Teacher Status
-Recent experience working as a class teacher in an EYFS department
-Up to date knowledge of the EYFS Curriculum and the pedagogy to support this
-Strong behaviour management, strong classroom presence and awareness of school policies
-Flexibility to attend after school INSET sessions, staff meetings and extra-curricular clubs
The said school is well known in the local area as the reputation for teaching and learning across the provision is excellent. The relationships the staff have with children and parents is excellent. The support for children on Free School Meals and the children who receive funding for Special Educational Needs is also excellent across school and monitored effectively by the dedicated SENCO. As a teaching member of staff, you will be well supported by the Head teacher and also from the SENCO. Both are typically involved in the day-to-day running of the school and will ensure any adverse behaviour is dealt with accordingly in line with the school’s policy.
The school can be easily accessed via public transport or by car. Parking is available on site.
The current class teacher scheduled to take time for maternity is working until the Summer months and so the school are expecting to appoint for full school reopening and in time for the new academic year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
