Temporary | Part Time



We have an exciting NEW opportunity to work across a Multi Academy Trust as a HLTA. You will be required to support class Teachers with cover such as, SMT release, PPA cover, classroom support and sickness cover in an allocated bubble when needed.  

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will need to have strong behaviour management allowing you to take control of the class as and when needed, a good knowledge of the Primary Curriculum and experience supporting Special Education Needs. These skills we be required in order to support your allocated bubble across the MAT.

Key SEN training, we look out for is MAPA, MAKATON, Team-Teach, Verbal De-escalation or SEND Level 1 and/or 2. Other training will be considered.

We are particularly keen to speak to Newly Qualified Teachers, HLTAs, Cover Supervisors, Level 5 Qualified Teaching Assistants.

Key requirements:

  • Ability to support or teach when needed
  • Knowledge of Read Write Inc, Rockstar Times Tables, Class Dojo
  • Relevant qualification – minimum NVQ Level 5
  • X2 Contactable references
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (Registered with the DBS Update Service) – This can be purchased through TP if you do not currently have one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
