Higher Level Teaching Assistant required at a Primary School in  Whalley Range, Manchester (M16)

A client school in Whalley Range area of Central Manchester (M16) are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in their year 1 class on a full time basis. The ideal candidate will have recent and relevant experience assisting learning across ks1 and will be looking for their next full time teaching assistant opportunity.

The school is a larger than average, two form entry primary school which was rated ‘GOOD’ with ‘OUSTANDING’ features at its last OFSTED inspection. It boasts continuous levels of progression across KS1 and the staff have been praised for their teaching and assessment methods. The school is looking for a level 3 teaching assistant/HLTA to work in their Year 1 class on a full time basis starting after October half term.  The ideal candidate will comfortable with the KS1 curriculum, have a sound knowledge of the Letters and Sounds Framework for phonics and will be required to take full classes across the EYFS and KS1 int he abesence of class Teachers. The role will start on temporary but are looking to appont permanently, so the oppoirtunity to work onto a school based contract will be available.

The Head Teacher at the school is looking for a dedicated HLTA who will make a difference to the education of the children in their year 1 class and across the wider school. This is a full time opportunity, not to be missed!
