Job description:

Are you looking for a rewarding role in Education or seeking flexible work to fit around other commitments such as studies, childcare or other employment?

Teaching Personnel are currently working with schools across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. Due to high demand for our services within these schools, Teaching Personnel are seeking dedicated Primary Teaching Assistants to work across EYFS, KS1 (Foundation phase) and KS2.

The roles include 1:1 SEN support, group intervention/ catch up and general classroom support.

Ideal candidates will:

  • Have experience working with children (school based, coaching, tutoring or volunteering)
  • Ideally have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs
  • Be able to work on your own initiative.
  • Be positive and approachable.
  • Be able to develop excellent working relationships with fellow staff members, pupils and parents.
  • Ideally have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs however this isn’t essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
