KS1 Teaching Assistant required.

Teaching Personnel are recruiting a KS1 TA for a village school local to Honiton. The current opportunity is due to start after October half term. The role requires you to work under the classroom teacher and alongside fellow teaching assistants. With a focus on working in small groups and 1:1. You should help create a positive and stimulating culture within the classroom and school.

As a teaching assistant you will need to build positive relationships with the students and staff. Maintain a high standard of control and discipline. Develop the children’s confidence and subsequently help to raise their attainment level.

It would be advantageous if the right candidate has knowledge and experience working within KS1, however, any education or childcare experience would be beneficial.

This prospect can be flexible to the candidate and accommodate any other responsibilities you may have.

After a successful period the right candidate will have the option to get a permanent position at the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
