A ‘Good’ Secondary School in Walsall are looking for an Examinations Officer, starting in January 2023.

 
The school is known for its ‘inclusive and welcoming’ environment. Previous experience is not required, however the ideal candidate will have a proven ability of being organised and working to tight deadlines.

 
About the role:

  • Full time Monday-Friday, working 37 hours per week.
  • Term-time only; however, you will be required to work over the School’s summer holiday during the examination results period.
  • Start date: January 2023.
  • Salary: competitive, dependent on experience.

Your responsibilities:
  • Input data on SIMS.
  • Distribute exams to pupils and staff.
  • Maintain records of results.
  • Liaise with the School’s pool of external invigilators, preparing them for exam schedules.
  • Dealing with queries and responding to them appropriately.
  • Check and collate results certificates.


The successful candidate will be required to work during the School Summer Holiday during the exam results period. The successful candidate may also be required to work extra hours during the main exam period, however the school are willing to negotiate with the successful candidate, allowing you to take some holiday during term time.
